Magnéto has installed an imminent collision warning system on a loader. This system warns the operator of the presence of obstacles or pedestrians near the vehicle. The images captured by the 3D cameras are analyzed by a PLC, which sends signals to a light and sound tower corresponding to the distances measured and the configuration of the environment. This system makes it possible to discriminate between a fixed obstacle and a pedestrian, thus minimizing the risk of incidents in rail yards.
